Round 5 Steer Report

Tonight it will be the same set of steers as the 1st and 3rd Round where we seen Kavis Drake & Denim Ross take the wins with a 4.2 and a 3.9. This is the smaller and lighter set of the 2 pens and I bet you that tonight gets FAST.

Here’s who has what:

Schmidt & Glenn- 145, the steer that Bird & McLeod had in Round 1 where Bird broke out and missed. Quam & Chappel had him the 2nd time and went 4.8. Should be a good chance for redemption for these 2 guys.

Tee & Sid- 121, this is the steer Schmidt & Brost had night #1. Schmidt broke the barrier but a good steer nonetheless. Bird and McLeod had him last night and went 4.2 after Tyce heeled em around the guts. This could be the one where Tee and Sid go sub-4 seconds.

Pony & Tyrel- 149, the steer the Grahams had night 1. Maybe a tick stronger but it looked like Dawson was off it by a bit that night too. Tee and Sid run him last night and he looked awesome, Sid wouldn't miss that one again. The old boys will get him caught and stay solid on 4.

Trey & Jerry- 162, this is the steer Pony & Tyrel had night 1 and Pony just split the horns on him. It is also the steer that Kavis and Denim went 3.9 on last night to win the round. This steer should be an easy one to just catch and win the average on, it also could be a great chance to win the round and give Trey a chance in the heading. This will be the run to watch.

DBird & Tyce- 125, this one has been roped by a leg twice now. Both Tee and Kash made him look like a great steer but Sid and Spady come up 1 shy both times. Tyce will be the first one to rear back on doubles on this steer this week.

Kavis & Denim- 165, this is the steer Tryan & Smith missed in Round 1 but Trey and Jerry went 5th on in Round 3. It doesn't matter what steer you put in the chute for these boys, their gameplan is going to be the same, go FAST!

Kash & Spady- 122, this is the steer Simpson & Cullen went 5.1 on for 2nd on night #1 and Schmidt & Brost went 3.5 on with a barrier last night. Great steer, should not only be a great chance at staying in the average, but winning the round as well.

Quam & Chappel- 159, this is the steer Schmidt & Glenn went 5.2 on for 3rd night 1 and Grahams missed Night 3. Look for Quam & Chappel to use him and be fast.

Dawson & Dillon- 164, this is the steer Quam & Chappel took a No Time on in Round 1 and Tryan and Smith missed in Round 3. The Graham brothers will be the first to rear back on him and it will be fast.

Brady and Calgary- 157, this is the steer Trey & Jerry took a barrier on in round 1 and Kolton broke out on last night. Great steer, just a touch softer. Perfect for Tryan and Smith to get the monkey off their backs and potentially win the round.

Levi & Braden- 156, this is the steer that Kash & Spady run on Wednesday night to split 4th and Pony & Tyrel used last night for a clean run. Similar to Tryan and Smith, look for this team to break the ice and visit the pay window tonight.

Levi & Logan- 104, this is a spare as the steer they ran last night was pulled from the draw. We will see what it's like as these 2 go in battling for Canadian titles
