Regina SK- After two full-house performances at the Maple Leaf Circuit Finals, it’s young studs Kavis Drake and Denim Ross that have dominated the Brandt Centre so far.
The pair would kickstart their week with a sold 5.5 second run. This would place them second on the night behind Roland McFadden & Tyrel Flewelling’s time of 5.2 seconds.
Drake and Ross then kept the ball rolling on Thursday night, winning Round #2 with the fastest time thus far… 4.0 seconds. Pairing nicely with their first round run for a solid lead in the average with 9.5 seconds on 2 steers.
Grady Quam and Devin Wigemyr currently sit in second place for the average race with a total time of 15.7 seconds on two head, 6 seconds back of Drake and Ross.
Clay Ullery and Tyce McLeod’s 4.9 second run last night has moved them up to third in the average currently with 24.5 seconds on their first two.
Klassen & Roy (29.1 seconds on 2) and Skocdopole & Spady (33.9 seconds on 2) are the other teams to have knocked both down.
While Tee McLeod and Brady Chappel are the fastest on one head with last night’s time of 4.6 seconds.
Round three action continues tonight in the Brandt Centre at 7pm with Team Roping as the third event.
