Maple Leaf Circuit Finals- TONIGHT

REGINA, SK - Tonight, marks the kick-off of the highly anticipated 2023 Maple Leaf Circuit Finals, where the top 10 teams from the circuit standings will vie for a coveted trip to the NFR Open. This thrilling competition not only promises nightly and average payouts but also counts towards the 2024 CPRA standings. The electrifying performance is slated to commence at 7pm with the team roping set as the third event, following the bareback and steer wrestling.

The team roping roster is a showcase of talent, featuring a dynamic mix of young guns and seasoned veterans. Rising stars like Kavis Drake and Groves brothers, Brody and Logan, look to make their mark and secure a head start on their journey to a first Canadian Finals Rodeo appearance. However, standing in their way are formidable opponents—past Canadian Champions and CFR Qualifiers who bring a wealth of experience and skill to the arena.

The complete Team Roping roster for this year’s Maple Leaf Circuit Finals is:

1-Roland McFadden & Tyrel Flewelling

2-Tee Mcleod & Brady Chappel

3- Brody & Logan Groves

4- Travis Speer & Chase Simpson

5- Kavis Drake & Denim Ross

6- Tate & Kagen Schmidt

7- Luke Skocdopole & Logan Spady

8- Colton Klassen & Kasper Roy

9- Clay Ullery & Tyce Mcleod

10- Grady Quam & Devin Wigemyr

Night number one is a great chance for teams to strike early and get the ball rolling for the rest of the week. Last year it was Trey Gallais and Tristin Woolsey that got the ball rolling in Round One with a blistering run of 3.8 seconds for first place (Video in comments). The team would use this first round momentum to place in 3 out of 4 rounds and ultimately walk away the 2022 Maple Leaf Circuit Finals Champions.

The other teams that placed in Round One of the 2022 Maple Leaf Circuit Finals? Travis Speer/Chase Simpson who went 4.0 for second place, Brett Buss/Denim Ross with a 4.4 and Tee Mcleod/Kasper Roy who turned in a 4.9 second run. It just so happens that 5 out of 6 of these guys will be back again tonight, hungry for some more first round success.

Who is your pick for Round #1 in the Team Roping?

Stay tuned for live coverage and real-time results.
